Did you know there is a correct procedure for jump starting one vehicle from another? Follow along
and we'll explain. Read all the way through before proceeding.
 
1.Be sure both vehicles are turned off. Eye protection should be
 worn,especially if there is a strong smell of Sulphur around the battery.
 
2.The RED cable of your jumper cables connect to the + or positive
side of the  battery for the vehicle needing the jump start.
 
3.Connect the other end of the RED cable to the + or positive side
of the battery in the vehicle  providing the power for the jump.
 
4.Connect the BLACK cable of your jumper cables to a good clean
metal part or  surface of the engine (ground) for the vehicle
needing the jump start.
 
5.Connect the other end of the BLACK cable to the  - or the negative
side of the  battery in the vehicle providing the power for the jump.
 
6.Start the vehicle providing the power for the jump and wait 3-5 minutes
before attempting to start the dead vehicle.
 
7.Once the vehicle needing being jumped starts, TURN OFF the
vehicle proving the power..
 
8.Remove the jumper cables in reverse order ALWAYS removing
the BLACK  neg or ground cables first.
